The Position
As a UI Programmer at iRacing, you will be working on an exciting, recently announced console-focused realistic racing game. Primarily using Python, you will be building player-facing user interface widgets, screens and functionality based upon design documentation. You will prototype UI concepts to efficiently prove out designs as well as develop enhancements to the existing UI and UI framework.
Responsibilities
- Implement fully functional game screens including the required UI-related logic to a high visual and coding quality based upon design documentation
- Work effectively with other departments (e.g. Design, Gameplay and Audio) to deliver features on time
- Prototype features for quick validation and revision
- Test, debug, profile, and optimize implementations
- Provide technical documentation to accompany UI implementations
- Develop new tools to improve UI workflow
- Contribute to and support the technical roadmap for future titles
Requirements
- A passion for playing and making video games with a strong self-driven work ethic
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or
- equivalent training or relevant professional experience
- A minimum 2 years of game development experience as a UI programmer with at least 1 shipped title
- A high proficiency in Python
- Understand asynchronous programming and coroutines
- Skilled in C++
- Experience with game development tools such as Visual Studio, JIRA, Git

The Position
As a Gameplay Programmer at iRacing, you will be working on an exciting, recently announced console- focused, realistic racing game. You will be responsible for prototyping and implementing core gameplay systems and features based on design documentation, as well as developing the tools and workflows for game systems. As a Tools Programmer at iRacing, you will be working on an exciting, recently announced console-focused realistic racing game. You will be primarily responsible for developing the tools to handle the import/export workflows of game data, including owning the pipeline and conversion of 3D worlds and
related assets such as track and collision data.

- Create tooling to convert and import track and geometry data
- Maintain and update the world editor tool with feature placement and data import/export pipelines as required
- Support the tools needs of the gameplay, audio and UI development teams

The Position
As a UI Layout Programmer at iRacing you will be working on an exciting, recently announced console focused realistic racing game. Programming with Python, you will be working closely with Design to translate mockups into on-screen layouts. You will prototype UI concepts to efficiently prove out designs as well as develop enhancements to the existing UI and UI framework.
Responsibilities
- Work with Design to understand the game vision and how that translates into the UI screens
- Work with Design and UI Art to create and validate prototypes from the UX/UI designs for quick validation and revision
- Develop prototypes into functioning layouts using Python, enabling the wider UI development team to add functionality and aesthetics to those layouts
- Understand the dependencies between the design, gameplay and UI to ensure that the UI team are always as unblocked as possible
- Test, debug, profile, and optimize implementations
- Provide technical documentation to accompany UI implementations
- Contribute to and support the technical roadmap for future titles

Broadcast Media Producer Apply »
iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations LLC is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Broadcast Media Producer to join our team. In this role, you will help bring the world of competitive sim racing to life through high-quality live broadcasts. This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for motorsports and media production in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
This position is located at our corporate office in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Requires weekend availability and flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain control room, studios, and other parts of the Broadcast facility
- Create, build, and program shows in collaboration with the production team
- Execute live broadcast programming, switcher & audio console programming, and other necessary needs
- Capture and edit video content for various platforms, including highlights, interviews, promotional videos, and viewer engagement content
- Upkeep of an archive for future projects and marketing materials
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Sports Media, Broadcasting Communications, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in a live broadcast environment, production truck, or studio atmosphere
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Experience with After Effects is a plus) or equivalent software
- Experience using Vizrt/Newtek production equipment (Tricaster, 3Play) or equivalent technology is strongly preferred.
- Experience with professional camera equipment, lighting, and audio recording
- Strong editorial judgment and knowledge of subject matter
- Proficiency in the use of Google Calendar, Drive & Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides & Forms)
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Exceptional organization and time management skills, with flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, irregular hours as required, and occasional travel.
- Experience with iRacing is a plus.
